Endurance Fabric in coldstore clothing increases efficiency.

Why should you worry about longevity

When it comes to coldstore workwear, longevity = efficiency. Specialist and certified clothing should be durable and it should be cared for to ensure that it lasts as long as possible. This is for the following reasons:

  1. Replacing clothing less will save money in the long run
  2. The reduced amount of clothing orders will save time and hassle
  3. To protect the user to the full extent, coldstore clothing must have no defects

Endurance Fabric – How this increases longevity

Endurance fabric is designed to withstand some of the toughest conditions around. The actual weave of the fabric originated from a special fabric design which is used commonly by the military, mountaineering gear and other tough applications.

To put the durability into perspective, we tested this specially developed fabric to 100,000 rubs with the Martindale abrasion test, which is double what fabrics used for garments are usually tested to, and the material remained with ‘no change’ throughout the test for 4 different samples!

The abrasion test is the most important test for coldstore workwear as this is the greatest form of wear experienced in a coldstore environment, especially on the sleeves and lower body, which experience a lot of contact throughout a normal shift in the freezer.

So by using Endurance fabric in these specific areas where high wear is experienced, the durability of the garments is increased therefore ensuring the longevity of the garment.

Garments with Endurance Fabric

Introducing the Endurance Collection. All garments that are part of the Endurance Collection have Endurance fabric in high wear areas, creating a tough and durable range of coldstore workwear.
